WIP Creating Comics Online - The Language of Comics

Creating Comics is a monthly meetup, where we study the craft of drawn narratives with the goal of helping people create their own comics.

This month, Mike will be talking the language of comics: how the basic building blocks of the form (speech bubbles, panels, gutters, page layouts etc.) can be employed to make your comics more playful, more impactful and more thought-provoking.

The talk will be followed by a workshop where you can take what you've learned and create a short piece that plays with the language of comics. Bring your drawing tools!
