WIP Creating Comics Online - Let's Script a Comic

Creating Comics is a monthly meetup, where we study the craft of drawn narratives with the goal of helping people create their own comics.

This September and October, we're going to be doing a two-part workshop pair where you can attend one or the other, or both!
This is the first workshop of the pair, with no obligation to join the second.
New members and old hands are welcome, as always.

All you will need to take part is to be able to write and digitally share your writing during the meetup.

In this workshop, we're going to be focusing on writing short, seasonal 2-4 page comic scripts that will be used during the next workshop, with no homework required.
We'll do some writing exercises to get ourselves started, and then write collaboratively in our 'writers rooms' to make short comic scripts and give each other feedback on what can be pushed or developed to further hone our craft.

By the end of this workshop, we will have created a script that can be used in the next workshop in October focused on drawing our 2-4 page comic. Be it your first comic, or your 100th, everyone is welcome to come along and develop your skills amongst your fellow comic creators.

If you cannot attend the next workshop - we will share the script(s) in our Creating Comics channel so you can draw your comic in your own time if you wish to.
