## Wise Spirit is a group that explores the ancient teachings of Buddhism through the lens of Western psychology, neuroscience, and the modern human potential movement.

The group is led by Buddhist Dharma Teacher in the lineage of Ruth Denison, Mental Health Therapist and Mindfulness coach Gregory Maloof, MA, LPC.

Every Thursday evening at Portland Friends of the Dhamma, come and join other students of meditation for a 40 min group sit followed by a Dharma Talk, Q&A and Metta (meditation of goodwill).

Strengthen an existing meditation practice, meditate in community, and learn new techniques and apply insights to your life for more joy and connectivity.

This group is open to all levels of experience, but those who have had at least some experience with meditation prior will get the most out of the group.

The group also holds one-day workshops and day long meditation retreats.
The weekly group meditation is held on Thursday evenings at 7 pm PST.

If you would like to get a sense of Gregory's teaching style, there are recordings of the Dharma talks / guided meditations online through apple and google podcasts as well as spotify. You can also listen through the Wednesday Wake-Up website.

There is no cost associated with this group, but if you feel the call to generosity and wish to donate, you can do so on the website listed above.
