What we’re about
IMPORTANT NOTE: WitchesWorkshop is currently being set-up as a paid membership group for our sister group Witch Circle. This group is not currently active but stay tuned via Witch Circle Meetup.
The information on this page will tell you about our sister group Witch Circle, which is based in Newtown Sydney. If you wish to attend current workshops or review our many past events please see WITCH CIRCLE Sydney MEETUP (https://www.meetup.com/witch-circle/) Read on:
Welcome into the WITCH CIRCLE Meetup group for Sydney. We are based in the inner city area of Newtown, the traditional land of the traditional lands of the Gadigal Wangal clans of the Eora nation.
Meeting together, chatting, and sharing ritual is what has made our meetings valuable for our members, especially for those wanting to know where to start. I've met some wonderful witches and see WITCH CIRCLE Meetup community growing.
We hold events both in-person and online. Every month we offer workshops to our growing community. Our twice-monthly Witch Circle Meetups provide a broad range of topics as well as a chance to get to meet and chat with other Witches.
We value your involvement, and during the last year, we have seen a fantastic growth toward developing our Witch CIrcle community. We update our members about the scheduled workshops week-by-week.
You don’t need special knowledge or experience ...
That's why you are coming to the WITCH CIRCLE Meetup, right? And the more meetups you come to the more you'll learn and experience.
You'll learn from experienced members of the Witchcraft community. Whether you are just starting on your journey or if you have been into Witchcraft forever you are very welcome.
Here’s what to expect at our typical Witch Circle meetups.
The WITCH CIRCLE Meetup workshops are FREE but we are asking for a contribution to the rent we pay to maintain our workshop venue, the Alchemy Space.
Normally all the regular workshops are held at The Alchemy Space in Newtown. Studio 1, 199 King Street, Newtown; enter from Egan street. If we are holding the workshop online this is done via Zoom and you're provided with a link.
Register to come along and join in any of the events that interest you.
Please feel free to ask anything by contacting us on the group discussion page.

2020 PROGRAM:
There's an email update sent out via Meetup a few days before each event to everyone who RSVPs “I’m going.” This just checks the start time, what to bring (if anything unusual), and a reminder to wear comfortable clothing because we work on the floor (cushions provided).
Our meetings are usually held on Sundays from 3.30pm to 8.30pm. We start with a bit of socialising and then at 4pm there's a presentation on the topic for the Meetup. See our website and Facebook Page for examples. At 5.30pm we have another short break and then from 6pm we run our ritual with an introduction to how we conduct the Witch Circle. We close the ritual by 8.30pm with more socialising and finish by 9pm.
