Sticks and Stones will be closed Tuesday Dec 16 to honor Jen

Hello Sticks and Stones community.

With a heavy heart and grieving spirit, we wanted to share that one of our dearest family members Jen passed away unexpectedly last weekend.

Jen was a reliable and heartfelt person in our circle of family here at the shop. Her positive mindset and open heart shined like the sunrise of an early spring day, cutting through the fog and illuminating our days. Jen cared fiercely for her son Josh, and always worked hard to broaden her ability to help her clients in her work here on Earth. Her memory will be carried forward every time her favorite musician Tom Petty crosses our radio waves, and any time our hearts are softened to the plight of another.

Please share a quiet moment in your heart for her. And while she may not physically be present here with us, her spirit is intertwined with us and our shop until the end of time. Hail the Traveler!

If you knew Jen and would like to join her funeral service, it will be held this Tuesday 12/16/2025 at 1pm. Located at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home in Dale City. The link to her Obituary and Funeral service information can be found below. In honor of her service, our store will also be closed on 12/16 so we can grieve and remember Jen together.
