Wordpress developers and admins

Wordpress (http://wordpress.org)is the world's most popular web framework, powering 26% of websites. It powers everything from personal blogs, to small business and nonprofit websites to the web front ends for large enterprises.

Do you own or administer a Wordpress site? Are you a Wordpress developer? Would you like to learn from others in the area using Wordpress or share your experiences with Wordpress? Would you like to learn if Wordpress will meet your needs for a blog or content management system? Then come to this meetup and learn and share with fellow Wordpress fans in the Pioneer Valley!

At our initial meet we'll talk about what we want to learn and discuss in future meetings. Meetings are envisioned as a way to share tips, practices, secrets, shortcuts and development practices for the Wordpress platform. We will look at one Wordpress site, see how it is configured and run and get your feedback for how it could be improved. If there is time we will look at additional sites as well.

We will plan to meet in the same space on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

The room seats 20 so sign up soon if you plan to come. If you can't make it, please cancel your RSVP so someone else can attend.

Do not bring any alcoholic beverages into NCTV, however snacks are allowed.

We ask that people park in the lower student lot at Northampton High School and walk up to NCTV, as we only have 4 parking spots in front of NCTV and we would like our members to be able to park close by when they come in for a class.
