Job Posting: Front End Web Developer/Drupal Site Builder

This is You

We are looking for someone with genuine enthusiasm for the presentation layer and the ability (and eagerness) to learn new skills on the job. She or he will be responsible for:

• Front-end template development for new web sites and applications
• Creating new Drupal themes and updating existing themes
• Performing Drupal site-building activities including creating and modifying views, contexts and blocks
• Refinements and new-feature additions to existing client projects
• Working closely with our team of designers on in-house deliverables
• Communicating recommendations and requirements clearly, both with non-technical clients and with technical partners

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience creating responsive Drupal themes using Sass.
• Experience with Drupal front-end development and configuration

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

·      Familiarity with usability standards and best practices

·      Familiarity with accessibility best practices, Section 508 compliance and/or WCAG 2.0 standard

·      Experience with Drush

·      Experience with the process of user-centered design 

·      Experience developing digital products for audiences with limited (health) literacy skills

·      Familiarity with public health, health education, and health communication fields
