# 🌷 Mother’s Day Angels Blessing Bags

💐 A Soup Angels Celebration of Love, Care & Community
📅 Saturday, May 9, 2026 1:00–3:00 p.m. 📍 Chef Irvin’s House — 6919 Lindsley Ave, Dallas, TX 75223

## 🧺 Help Us Create 100+ Mother’s Day Blessing Bags

This Mother’s Day, we’re honoring the strength and resilience of the women in our community — while ensuring every neighbor in need receives care with dignity. We’ll assemble Blessing Bags filled with essentials, comfort items, and a few extra touches of beauty for the ladies.
Bring supplies, donate funds, or simply show up with heart.

## 🎨 New Partnership: Lakewood Art Lab

Young artists from Lakewood Art Lab are creating hand‑drawn Mother’s Day encouragement cards to tuck into each Blessing Bag — a beautiful, uplifting gift from child to neighbor.

## 🎀 Pink Bags Needed

We’d love to use pink bags for the women’s baskets — but all sizes and colors are welcome.

## 🍗 400 Homestyle Chicken Plates

We’re preparing 400 homestyle chicken plates for Mother’s Day weekend outreach. A $5 donation sponsors a plate; remaining funds support Blessing Bag supplies.

## 🚗 Optional Ride‑Along

From 3:00–3:30 p.m., join Chef Gary to distribute the first 100 Blessing Bags. The remaining bags will be delivered on Mother’s Day, May 10.

## 🤝 Your Time Matters

Whether you bring items, donate, or simply lend your hands, you are part of this celebration of love and community.

## 🥣 Don’t Forget

If you or your family need nourishment this week, reserve your free outreach soups — we’re here to support you with dignity and care.
