Know your rights at work
Buildpass, Unit 2/33 Stewart St, Richmond VIC 3121, MELBOURNE, AUThe session is about getting to know your rights at work, and will cover several topics including
- parental rights,
- unfair dismissal,
- discrimination,
- bullying, workplace safety, and
- sexual harassment.
There will also be time for Q&A to answer any employment related questions.
Thea Depold is a specialist employment and discrimination law practitioner.
She is a Senior Lawyer at Westjustice for the Working Women’s Centre Victoria, a statewide free employment rights legal service for all working women across Victoria.
She is passionate about assisting women understand and exercise their rights at work, particularly in relation to gendered violence in male dominated workforces, and contributing to broader law reform campaigns to achieve better protections against gender-based discrimination.
