What we’re about
Between every two pine trees there is a door leading to a new way of life. ~ John Muir
We have enjoyed co-creating this conscious community of women in Austin that believe we can do more to support each other personally and professionally through awareness, curiosity, and presence while gathering primarily in Nature since 1999. If this resonates with you, we’d love to have you join us as we learn to listen to our own inner wisdom and empower each other through the beauty and wisdom of Nature.
This is a FREE meetup for adult women that will meet regularly for activities including hiking, guided reflection, book studies, camping, yoga, Full Moon Circles, deep connection and slow to rigorous activities through Austin’s incredible trail systems, in Nature and occasionally online! Nature provides the perfect backdrop to unplug from the hustle, ground into stillness, bask in gratitude and open our minds and hearts to awe, wonder and transcendence. Can you think of a better setting to prioritize self-care, move our bodies, and connect with others and the natural world?
CONSCIOUS COMMUNITY:
- Our intention is to build an active, harmonious community of diverse, interesting women by offering meaningful activities in Nature (and online during Covid!) that allow our members to come together to have fun, while nurturing our minds, bodies, and spirits.
- Our desire is that this investment of time and energy will make it easier for us to open our hearts to forming new friendships that lead to lasting and meaningful relationships.
- Our goal is that every member feels comfortable and able to become further integrated into the WeWiN community and we welcome participants stepping forward to share their gifts by co-leading events with the community.
- All members are asked to not post or push promotions or sales pitches in order to promote authentic connection and openness.
- We further remind all members to keep personal conversations shared at events confidential.
- All women over 18 are welcome regardless of race, creed, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, political affiliation or disability status.
ABOUT YOUR ORGANIZER:
Rhonda spent many years of living two distinct lives; one as a successful business leader in a corporate setting while juggling the challenges raising two sons as a single mother, and one searching for every opportunity to immerse herself and her family in nature to re-charge, whether that be the neighborhood trail system or the most non-commercialized yet accessible beaches or wandering around the vastness of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
In 2017 Rhonda changed that and began integrating the two, doing more and more of her work in nature. She also led the co-creation of a WeWiN group in New Orleans and a professional women's networking group in Austin called Women's Work Playground. Connect with Rhonda at: https://imaginework.com, LinkedIn or on Instagram.
Additionally, WeWiN depends on a volunteer leadership team and invites all active members in WeWiN to step into leadership or to lead individual events and share their gifts with the community as desired. Please reach out to Rhonda if you find yourself ready to offer events to our community or take on a more active leadership role.

ABOUT YOUR EVENT HOST:
Lili is all about connection—with nature, community, and life itself. A lover of the outdoors, animals, yoga, and the arts, she thrives in the energy of hiking trails, spiritual and conscious-living spaces, live music, and artful gatherings around Austin. She holds a deep reverence for the sacredness of the Earth and all her relations, honoring the energy that weaves us all together. For Lili, happiness is found in working with clay, gardening, staying curious as a lifelong learner, and, most of all, in the quiet joy of sharing life with her beloved cat, Yuki.
