WeWiN Great Hills Hike: Welcome Autumn! ๐Ÿ

Details

Let's go for a hike and enjoy the (even slightly!) cooler weather! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿฅพ๐ŸŒพ๐ŸŒฟ

Join Rhonda as we explore Great Hills Trails, an unexpected gem in Northwest Austin with lots of shade and creek views!

  • Rhonda will be at the exercise area near. theplayscape at 1:50pm and we will start intros right at 2pm then begin our hike soon after, so please arrive on time.
  • The full trail and offshoot trails are is over 5 miles but I would anticipate we will walk 2-3 miles total, depending on what attendees are up for and the speed that we walk.
  • Much of the trail is gravel and mulch but some of the side trails can be rocky so be prepared.
  • In alignment to WeWiN's goals to be better stewards of our beautiful city and the planet, bags will be available for those who are interested in picking up trash while walking. Feel free to bring gloves!

Everyone is responsible for taking care of their own physical needs, and we recommend that you bring:

  • Comfortable walking/hiking shoes
  • Weather appropriate layers
  • Bug Spray/Sunscreen
  • Plenty of Water
  • Optional: Gloves if you want to help pick up trash ...

๐Ÿถ Well-behaved, on-leash FurBabies are welcome at this event. ๐Ÿถ
