What we’re about
WiA Philly (Women in Agile Philadelphia) is an extension of Women in Agile for networking with Women engaged in Agile practices, principles, and so forth in the greater Philadelphia area.
WiA Philly Goals
- Foster a local community for shared interests in Agile disciplines supporting women in their Agile journeys
- Build a network for all genders to learn from one another, share ideas and host events
- Recruit others (all genders) to join and support our community
- Identify, encourage and support each other in speaking events, promote each other’s innovative ideas and blogging practice
- Partner with AgilePhilly to support each other’s events, marketing, and networking initiatives
Women in Agile is a collective effort to recruit, network, promote, and support the work of outstanding women in the agile community through blogging, speaking at events, and building a network among people of all genders.
Women in Agile, Inc (a 501c3 non profit organization) specifically focuses on building more inclusive conference experiences, supporting local agile communities of diversity, and providing opportunities for women and diverse groups to share their crafts in a safe, supportive environment with a low barrier to entry.
