Women Wandering Together – Join me outside and let’s wander!
Welcome! If you’re looking for a women’s only hiking group, you’ve come to the right place.

My intention is to create:

  • A safe group for women to explore a variety of trails in the Greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area.
  • A creative and healing outlet for women who are also interested in photography.
  • A community where women can share their local trails or interesting sights for photos.

It’s scientifically proven that being out in nature provides a healthy boost to our physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Women Wandering Together will help boost your social wellness, too!

We’ll meet on Saturday or Sunday mornings at different trails around the Greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The trails will be easy to moderate and take about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Please arrive on time!

Our First Hike: Let’s meet at Papago Buttes in Central Phoenix. This is an easy hike with gorgeous red rock views. Situated near the Desert Botanical Garden and Phoenix Zoo.

RSVP Policy: If you RSVP but are unable to attend a hike, you must change your RSVP to “Not Going.” Safety is our top priority, and we do not want any women going to a trail and ending up alone due to “no shows.”

Hike Day Communication: Communication will include group text chats in case of any unforeseen circumstances or emergencies on hike days.

What to Bring:

  • The trails are rocky and can be slippery so it’s easy to twist an ankle if you aren’t paying attention. I HIGHLY recommend shoes designed for hiking with good tread on them.
  • You MUST bring at least 1L (32 oz) of water with you. You may want a headlamp for early morning starts when we do sunrise/golden hour photography hikes. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat are always smart.
