Women in Power #4: She Who Speaks Up
Most of us know the feeling: the meeting where you had the right point but didn't say it, the moment you softened your ask until it disappeared, the conversation you rehearsed a hundred times and still avoided. She Who Speaks Up is the fourth event in this series, and it's about the gap between what we think and what we're willing to say out loud.
The premise is simple: having a voice and using it are two different skills. Plenty of capable women stay quiet in the rooms where speaking up matters most, not because they lack conviction, but because the cost of speaking feels higher than the cost of staying silent. This evening is about shifting that math.
We'll get into what it actually takes to speak with clarity and hold your ground, whether you're pushing back on a decision, negotiating what you're worth, delivering hard feedback, or simply making sure your idea lands before someone else says it louder. Not about being the loudest person in the room. About being heard when it counts.
As always, Women in Power is about honest conversation and women who are building, leading, and finding their way forward. Learning to speak up is part of that, and it's a skill you can build.
