Lightning Talks are back!

We're excited to be starting up more structured events again - to kick if off we thought we'd give our members an opportunity to tell us about themselves, and share something they wish they'd known earlier.

Lightning talks are a great way to practice your presentation and public speaking skills in a relaxed, informal setting. They can be as short as you want but ideally no more than 5-10 minutes, and can involve presentations and visual aids but they don't have to. You can make it all your own!

We'd love to hear your stories and advice about what you wish you'd known when you were learning a new skill, looking for jobs, deciding on University courses - anything really! Whatever it is, we're sure someone in the audience will appreciate hearing it.

If you'd like to give a short talk, please send an email to womenintechbirmingham@gmail.com, and include a quick outline of your talk. This helps us get a better idea of what to expect on the night!

Whether you want to give a talk or not, let us know if you're attending as spaces are limited.

To ensure everyone at our events feels welcomed and safe, we expect attendees to abide by our code of conduct. Please take a few minutes to review this before you arrive:
