Often people become managers because they're good at their jobs. The problem is that until you become a line manager, your job has never been line manager, so where do you start? Most people have to muddle through without much support or any training.
Kathryn firmly believes that you can learn a lot from your own managers - good and bad.
Based on her own experiences of being managed and being a line manager, this talk covers the dos and do nots of line management in tech, and hopefully leaves you with a little more confidence in their line management abilities.

We will kick off at 6pm with drinks and ice breakers and start the main event at 6:30pm. Food and refreshments provided!
