Lightning Talks: International Women’s day

Details
To celebrate International Women's Day 2025, we're bringing back our Lightning Talks event format. These are a great way to practice your presentation skills and share something you're passionate about with a great bunch of people!
Whatever you want to talk about - a passion project, your favourite piece of tech, a cool book you just read - we want to hear about it!
If you're interested in doing a short talk, please get in touch with us via our email: admin@womenintechbirmingham.co.uk
Come along to the fantastic BJSS offices from 6PM. We'll kick off with drinks and ice breakers and start the main event at 6:30. Food will be provided!

All women with an interest in tech are welcome to attend our events. We also welcome other minority genders in tech who want to attend, but the organisers recognise that, as cisgender women, we are not able to speak about the unique difficulties that non-binary or other gender diverse people face.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Women in Tech Birmingham are women-led and we will always strive to centre those voices and experiences - while we welcome questions and input from our allies, we also need to ensure that our members feel centred and empowered in discussions. We therefore ask that attendees abide by our Code of Conduct.
