BUILT BY HER: Showcase your Side Quests

Some of the best things get built out of passion, even outside of work hours.

Whether it’s an app you coded on weekends, a hardware experiment, a game, a data project, a creative tool, or something you’re still figuring out, this is your chance to talk about it in front of a supportive community.

BUILT BY HER is an evening dedicated to celebrating the projects women in our community have built. Come to share your own, to get inspired by others, or just to see what people are making.

What to expect

• Short presentations/demos from women in our community
• The stories behind the projects: why they were started, what went wrong, and what was learned
• Time to chat, ask questions and meet people
• A friendly, welcoming space for all experience levels

Your project doesn’t have to be finished, perfect or “impressive”. If you built it and you care about it, we want to hear about it. Email admin@womenintechbirmingham.co.uk with a line or two about your project and we’ll get you a speaking slot.

Whether you’re a woman just starting out in tech, have years of experience, or are simply curious about the industry, this event is for you. Presenters and attendees are equally welcome.
