Courageous Conversations: How Tech can Leverage Diversity & Inclusion to Win

Women in Tech-Denver is an inclusive MeetUp group with a mission to provide women with a professional community that not only educates and empowers but that also promotes open dialogue in the Diversity & Inclusion space.

In order to continue promoting inclusion, we encourage all of our attendees to invite a male counterpart who will also benefit from this keynote and help carry our message forward. Join us for an exciting evening of candid conversation and open networking in a diverse environment. Our decision to invite a Male keynote did not come easy, but after the success and bold discussion that curated from our last event on Diversity & Inclusion in Tech we were challenged to open the strategy of our group for an event. The point was made that to truly dismantle power and share equity in the technology sector that we need men to join us as allies and strategic champions. They have to be in the room, and they have to participate.

Shane Portfolio, Senior Vice President of Engineering for Comcast will be delivering a keynote on how individuals and leaders are responsible for uplifting underrepresented members in tech and in successfully doing so, they will inherently win.
