What we’re about
Women in the Workplace Professional Support Group is a Meetup.com group representing Work in my Heels Networking Group (WIMH). Work in my Heels is a Louisiana based women's group formed in Baton Rouge, La. It was founded on a belief that women can work in support of each other instead of working against each other. Group founders believe connecting goal-oriented women to others with similar journeys will cultivate long-term relationships. We desire to create an atmosphere where women feel safe discussing work-related experiences and sharing knowledge to encourage success. Our events will bring women together from different industries to collaborate for growth and foster a knowledge-sharing culture. All professional, especially minority women should join.
