Daily Itinerary:

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 – Arrival in Tenerife at Tenerife South Airport (TFS). Private transfer to your luxury beach resort. Spend the afternoon on an optional horseback riding adventure along the coast or just relax after your flight by the pool. Our welcome dinner will be a chance to get to know your fellow travelers and enjoy stunning views of Tenerife’s beaches.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 – Today we’ll explore El Teide National Park. Experience an unforgettable journey to Spain’s highest peak, taking a cable car to La Rambleta station followed by a 40-minute hike to the summit at 3,718 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Canary Islands.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 – Discover the rich heritage of Northern Tenerife, exploring the UNESCO World Heritage site of La Laguna with its colonial architecture, venturing through the ancient forests of Anaga Rural Park, and visiting picturesque coastal villages.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟰 – After a morning at leisure, we’ll fly from mountainous Tenerife to the otherworldly volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote. We’ll check-in to our Travel from Tenerife to Lanzarote, checking into our boutique resort and have the remainder of the day at leisure. Head to the pool for some sun and relaxation or take a walk along the beach at Playa Blanca.

Itinerary:
Day 1 – Buenos Aires
Arrive at Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE), Buenos Aires’ main international gateway, where private transportation awaits to whisk you into the heart of the “Paris of South America.” Settle into your hotel and then later in the afternoon explore your neighborhood on a guided walking tour, discovering local cafes where porteños gather for afternoon coffee and hidden gems tucked along cobblestone streets. End the day, getting to know your group over a welcome dinner of local Argentine delicacies.

Note: We recommend your flight from the US arrives on October 1st – before 3pm local time to participate in the guided walking tour this afternoon. If you wish to arrive one day earlier, on September 30th, charges for the additional night’s stay can be added to your invoice.

Day 2 – Buenos Aires
This morning, visit the colorful neighborhoods of La Boca with its rainbow-painted houses and elegant Recoleta where Eva Perón rests in the famous cemetery, plus tour the magnificent Colon Theatre, considered one of the world’s finest opera houses. Experience the passion of Buenos Aires through its architecture, history, and artistic soul. This evening, learn to tango from a professional instructor who’ll teach you the sensual steps that define Argentine culture, then enjoy dinner and a passionate tango show where dancers in vintage attire transport you back a century.

Day 3 – Buenos Aires to El Calafate
Fly south over the vast Patagonian steppe to reach the glacier capital, El Calafate, where the landscape transforms into something otherworldly. Settle into your hotel and then spend the afternoon exploring this charming frontier town at your own pace, browsing local wool shops and enjoying the crisp mountain air that signals your entry into true wilderness.

Day 4 – Perito Moreno Glacier
Experience one of the world’s most active glaciers on a full-day adventure that will leave you breathless. Walk the viewing platforms as house-sized chunks of ice crash into the lake with thunderous roars that echo across the valley, witnessing nature’s raw power firsthand. Then take a boat safari among floating icebergs, marveling at ice formations sculpted over thousands of years into brilliant blue masterpieces. Day 5 – El Calafate
Enjoy a relaxing morning at leisure in El Calafate, perhaps visiting local artisan shops or savoring the mountain views with a cup of rich Argentine coffee. If you’re looking for a more active day, there are hiking opportunities directly from the town of El Calafate.

As evening approaches, paddle through Lake Argentino’s mirror-calm waters on a sunset kayak tour, watching elegant flamingos and graceful black-necked swans as the Andes mountains glow golden and pink in the magical Patagonian light. The silence here is profound, broken only by gentle paddle strokes and bird calls.

Day 6 – El Calafate to Puerto Natales
Cross into Chile through dramatic border landscapes and journey to Puerto Natales, gateway to Torres del Paine National Park and one of the world’s last great wilderness areas. Check into your hotel with sweeping views of the Patagonian fjords, where the land meets the sea in a symphony of blues and greens. Feel the anticipation building as you glimpse the jagged peaks in the distance. Rest up for tomorrow’s big adventure while enjoying the frontier town’s cozy atmosphere.

Day 7 – Torres del Paine Base Towers
Tackle Patagonia’s most famous hike to the base of the granite towers that give the park its name. This challenging but deeply rewarding trek leads through ancient forests of southern beech trees and up steep rocky moraines to a stunning glacial lake that perfectly mirrors the iconic granite spires. Stand at the base of these 2,000-foot towers and feel humbled by their magnificence, understanding why this vista is considered one of the world’s most spectacular mountain views.

Day 8 – Torres del Paine National Park
Explore more of this UNESCO World Heritage site on a scenic drive through landscapes that seem painted by nature’s boldest brush. Day 9 – Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas

Explore this historic port town where brave explorers once prepared for Antarctic expeditions, walking streets filled with maritime history and weathered by Patagonian winds. Day 10 – Magdalena Island
Take an exhilarating boat journey across the windswept Strait of Magellan to Magdalena Island’s incredible penguin colony, one of nature’s greatest spectacles. Walk among over 150,000 Magellanic penguins during their breeding season, observing their charming antics, protective parenting, and amusing waddle as they go about their daily lives completely unafraid of visitors. The cacophony of penguin calls and the sight of thousands of these tuxedo-clad characters creates an unforgettable wildlife encounter. Return for a farewell dinner celebrating your Patagonian adventure.

Day 11 – Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer to Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo Airport (PUQ) in Punta Arenas for your journey home via connecting flights. As you depart from this remote outpost at the edge of the world, carry with you memories of Patagonia’s untamed beauty, the warmth of South American hospitality, and the profound sense of having witnessed some of Earth’s most spectacular landscapes.

This evening, we’ll get to know each other better over a welcome dinner featuring regional specialties paired with carefully selected local wines.

Note: Guests should arrive in Bordeaux by 3pm local time to participate in the first day’s activities. Should you wish to arrive on October 11, a hotel room can be arranged for the pre-night and charges will be added to your invoice.

Day 2 – Oct 13: Culinary Discoveries Begin your morning exploring the vibrant Marché des Capucins with a local food expert, sampling fresh produce and regional delicacies. Next, join a celebrated chef for an intimate cooking class, mastering classic French techniques. Savor your creations during lunch with perfectly matched wines. The rest of your afternoon is at leisure.

Day 3 – Oct 14: Médoc Wine Tour Venture into the prestigious Médoc wine region for exclusive château visits and private tastings. Meet passionate winemakers who share stories passed down through generations. Drive along the famous Route des Châteaux, passing legendary estates like Château Margaux and Château Mouton Rothschild, perfect for photos of these architectural masterpieces. This evening, return to Bordeaux for dinner at a hidden gem restaurant known only to locals.

Day 4 – Oct 15: Saint-Émilion Wine & City Tour Journey to charming Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO World Heritage village built into limestone cliffs.
