Women Who Wander is a Central PA community for women who crave connection, curiosity, and a little adventure.
This is a space for trying new experiences together — the kind that feel playful, grounding, and just a little magical. We gather to explore what’s around us and connect along the way.
You don’t need to know anyone.
You don’t need to be “outdoorsy” or spiritual.
You just need to be open to showing up.
Just women coming together to wander into new experiences and build genuine friendships.

Horseback Trail Ride Adventure
River Valley Ranch, 4443 Grave Run Road, Manchester, MD, USReady for a little adventure? Join Women Who Wander for a peaceful guided horseback trail ride through the countryside. This is a beautiful opportunity to try something new, connect with nature, and meet other women in the community.
Whether you’ve ridden before or it’s your first time, this experience is designed to be relaxed, fun, and beginner-friendly.
After the ride, anyone who wants to linger is welcome to hang out and chat for a bit before heading home.

$50 per person
Payment must be exact cash or check (the ranch cannot accept cards or make change).
Please bring exact payment.### 👖 What to Wear
Required:
- Long pants (jeans recommended)
- Closed-toe shoes with a ½–1 inch heel
Helmets will be provided by the ranch.
### ⚠️ Required Waiver
All riders must complete the ranch’s online waiver at least 1 week before the ride.

When filling it out:- Select “Trail Ride”
- Enter the correct date of the ride
If the waiver is not completed in time, the ranch may cancel your ride.
### 🐎 What to Expect
When everyone arrives:
- Ranch staff will meet us outside the barn office/picnic tables
- Payments will be collected
- Helmets will be fitted
- Staff will provide a short riding demo
- Horses will be assigned
Then we’ll head out for our 1-hour guided trail ride.
### 👯 Group Size
Limited to 10 riders.
Please RSVP only if you are confident you can attend so another member doesn’t miss out. I must give the ranch a final list of riders one week before the ride.✨ I’m excited for this one — it should be a beautiful afternoon with horses, fresh air, and good company
