The purpose of this event is for like-minded women to meet and make friends. 💖😍💖
If you are new to Manchester, or
Your old friends have moved on and you want to make new friends, or
You just want more friends,
here is a convenient way to become friends with other Empowered Women i.e. women who are kind, supportive, and strong! 😍💖
Because female friendships are so good for our mental health. Just google 'female friends' and you'll run out of time reading articles on how good this is for us! Here are three examples: 🌸💕

16:15 Break into smaller groups so you can chat and connect with other like-minded women
17:00 You and your friend(s) can then leave the venue to have a drink or eat or do whatever you choose as the venue is in central Manchester and you will have lots of options.
Cost
The total cost of this event is £4.00 per person which includes operational costs for hot drinks, volunteers, etc, and includes a £1 PayPal fee. We are a nonprofit entity and all funds go towards helping women.
PayPal/Admin Costs
PayPal charges us a non-refundable fee for every transaction and their rates are varied and keep changing but they are generally between £0.45 and 1.50. Therefore, we are charing a flat fee of £1 to cover this fee.
Meetup Costs
Recently Meetup is adding their costs (average £2) to the reservations when you reserve here. Therefore, when you are making payment, you may see a few pounds added for this cost. We do not receive this additional money.
If you would like to avoid this additional cost, you can pay us directly by bank transfer or using paypal. Please email us at [directors@empowerdwomen-mcr.org](mailto:directors@empoweredwomen-mcr.org) to arrange this. Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Refund Policy
Generally speaking, your payment is non-refundable. Where the terms and conditions of the event allow for a refund and you have an unforeseeable or urgent issue, we may be able to offer a refund, minus any costs we have incurred (such as the PayPal/bank fees, if any).
However, we always welcome substitutes. If you can't make it, why not resell or gift your space to someone else? Let's pay it forward.

Friendly Reminders
All of our events and platforms are a safe space for women. This means:

- We support other women. We are present for other women in any way we are able.
