When I was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I thought my life was over. And while it had certainly changed, I knew that after healing, I wanted to get back to living. I've attended many support groups along my journey, which certainly serve a purpose, but was looking for a community to help me see life beyond my illness. I wanted to believe I could still be me, live nobody, and achieve all I wanted to achieve before I got sick.
While recognizing, acknowledging, and respecting our illness is important, we are more than our diagnosis.
This community is dedicated to women living with a mental health condition and/or challenge, who are ready to take on their life more powerfully. It’s about resilience, growth, acceptance, healing, connection, cheerleading, accountability, and bravery.
