Welcome Fabulous Ladies,

Have you recently relocated leaving Community behind? Perhaps local friendships have drifted? Our members are both local as well as recent transplants to WLA who are looking for community and authentic friendships. How exciting for us to have this opportunity to build Community and authentic Friendships with newcomers as well as ladies who have in WLA, for a long time.

Studies confirm sobering statistics: As life situations change, so do Friendships. Creating new social connections and community improves mental health. Loneliness & isolation is considered at pandemic levels for a variety of reasons. If you feel you are ready to build Your Community, you are not alone.

WCOF Santa Monica & West LA began Jan of 2023. Almost four years later, we have enjoyed monthly/weekly get togethers.

Frequent questions I receive:

How often do you meet?: We shoot for once a week and have a fondness for Social Hours so we can take advantage of Happy Hour appetizers. We look for laid back atmosphere allowing us to have meaningful conversation, inexpensive parking and old school ambiance.

Who hosts events?: We encourage everyone to help build community. Currently, we have 9 Fabulous Ladies within our group hosting events. You can check out our calendar (including past events) and will see we have done some pretty fun activities.

Our Mission: Attend fun events that allows members to make new friends. This is YOUR community, so we also ask that you chip in by hosting, or co-hosting, events. Community is not sustainable if one person is tasked with doing it all.

WCOF History:  In 2012, a Chapter began in Alexandria, VA. Women's Circle of Friends-Naples Chapter began after a friend moved, from Alexandria to Florida. We established a chapter in Greenville, NC, in 2016. And so it goes: As women relocate, our groups(s) hope to ease Fabulous Ladies into a Community that will lead to new friendships.
