Following in the footsteps of Emmeline Pankhurst & Charlotte Despard this tour brings the Suffragettes to life. A guided history walk that will focus solely on London's most brilliant women. From suffragettes to spies we delve into the lives of women who turned tradition on its head and swam upstream. The walk will last around 2 hours and will cover around 3 miles of London's streets, from St James to Embankment. also see where top secret female spies were recruited and wander through the area Dickens called The Devil's acre! From St James Park through parts of Victoria to the Houses of Parliament and on to Embankment.
