Bow Belles! Guided walk through Bow Quarter.

Details
Bow is an area largely forgotten by gentrification but this in turn makes it more real (in my humble opinion).
Its heritage trail shouts loudly of its association with the suffragettes. This is where Sylvia Pankhurst set up her East London Federation of Suffragettes. This is where she edited her weekly newspaper the workers dreadnought!
We go through the trail which includes a place where Gandhi came to stay at the invitation of sisters Doris & Muriel Lester. The old Roman Road with it's East End feel. Past the pie and mash shops and up to the Hertford Union Canal. We take a look at the old Bryant & May Match factory where the matchstick girls made history and so much more.
Start and finish at Bow Road underground.
£8 cash at the start of the walk or go over to my website www.flocklessbutfree.com to get an electronic ticket.
