Welcome to the Women’s Intentional Travel Community by Along the Way Travel Co.
This is a primarily online community for women who are drawn to more thoughtful, connected, and memorable ways of traveling.
This group is for you if:
- You identify as a woman
- You love meaningful travel, whether near or far
- You want to connect with other women who are curious about the world
- You care about culture, food, place, people, and everyday moments
- You’re drawn to travel that feels personal, thoughtful, and well-paced
- You like the idea of small-group trips, travel conversations, and future journeys
Along the Way Travel Co. creates small-group trips for women rooted in thoughtful pacing and connection to people and place. Some events in this community may introduce upcoming trips or future travel ideas, while others are simply a chance to gather, talk travel, and meet like-minded women.
Our main rhythm is a weekly online Women’s Travel Chat on Thursdays, with occasional extra events such as trip previews, destination spotlights, travel show & tell nights, planning conversations, guest sessions, and in-person gatherings.
Many of the trips and conversations here may especially resonate with women in their 20s to early 50s, but what matters most is a shared travel style and openness to the kind of experience this community is centered around.
If a future trip catches your eye, I like to connect one-on-one before confirming a spot. The groups are intentionally small, and that conversation helps make sure the experience feels aligned and gives you space to ask questions.

Greece is still very much part of the Along the Way future, and this interest list is the best way to hear updates as new dates and details take shape.
This journey is for women who want more than a fast-paced highlights tour. It’s designed as a thoughtful, connection-centered travel experience with time to settle in, share the experience with a small group, and connect more deeply with the culture, food, people, and everyday rhythm of Greece.
We’ll begin in Athens, where ancient history, neighborhood life, and everyday culture come together in a way that feels both energizing and grounding. From there, we’ll head to the island of Naxos for a slower island rhythm, beautiful scenery, meaningful local experiences, and time to truly breathe.

The current concept centers on a thoughtful, connection-centered journey through Lisbon and the coastal region, with a balance of city energy, local culture, food, creative experiences, ocean air, and slower time to settle into the trip.
This trip is being designed for women who want more than a fast-paced highlights tour. Think neighborhood wandering, shared meals, cultural experiences, time by the water, local perspective, and a rhythm that leaves space to breathe.
Portugal feels like a beautiful fit for Along the Way because it offers a mix of warmth, texture, history, design, food, coastline, and everyday moments that invite a slower kind of attention.
