About us

This group is for women who are ready to stop struggling with their body, food, and the constant pressure to look a certain way.

Maybe you've spent years dieting, losing and gaining the same weight, feeling guilty after eating, avoiding photos, comparing yourself to others, or believing that you'll finally be happy once your body is smaller.

Or maybe your relationship with your body affects your confidence, self-esteem, and everyday life.

This is a space where we come together to build a healthier relationship with food, our bodies, and ourselves.

Our meetups include a mix of support group discussions, seminars, and practical workshops on topics such as:

  • Body image and body acceptance
  • Breaking free from the dieting cycle
  • Emotional and binge eating
  • Building confidence and self-esteem
  • Letting go of perfectionism
  • Managing anxiety around food and appearance
  • Creating lasting habits that support your wellbeing

Whether you're recovering from disordered eating, trying to stop yo-yo dieting, or simply want to feel more at peace with yourself, you're welcome here.

*It’s important to note that the mission here is not to achieve “self-love,” whatever that is, but rather to help you build a life where your body no longer determines your confidence, your happiness, or your worth. A life that is rich with what’s important.

Who I Am & Why I Created This Group:

Hey, my name is Annabelle. I’m 34 years old, a certified life coach, and a recovering bulimic.

I struggled with bulimia for 15 years, and it completely hijacked my life.

I grew up in an environment where a lot of emphasis was put on appearance and from a young age, I learned to fear food and dislike my body. Over time, this developed into intense body shame, anxiety around food, and eventually social anxiety. I became so uncomfortable with myself that I struggled to be around other people, even my own family members, and fully participate in life.

In my late 20s, I reached a point where I knew I couldn’t continue living that way. I felt miserable, stuck, and unhappy with my life, and I decided that something had to change.

I started looking for ways to recover from bulimia, but I quickly realized that recovery wasn’t just about food. I had to face the deeper struggles underneath it: my anxiety, my fears, my relationship with my body, and the way I saw myself.

During this journey, I became a certified life coach because I wanted to better understand myself and the patterns that kept me stuck. I also started writing, and through writing, I found a way to process my thoughts, challenge my beliefs, and eventually recover from bulimia.

This is why supporting women with eating disorder recovery is very close to my heart. You’ll find support group meetings focused on bulimia recovery, but this group is also open to women who struggle with body image, confidence, self-esteem, dieting cycles, or simply feeling like they are not enough.

I believe eating disorders and body struggles are often symptoms of deeper pain, and that’s what I want to explore together. It breaks my heart that so many women grow up believing they need to look a certain way to be worthy, lovable, or enough.

My mission is to create a space where women can learn, heal, and build a healthier relationship with themselves.

Wherever you are on your journey, I hope you know this: your being enough is not contingent on anything. You are here on this earth, you are enough, period.
