QUICK LOOK:
Women's Bold Bonds: The Inclusive Vibe Collective is an inclusive women's community in Silicon Valley where women of all ages and backgrounds come together through fun, affordable activities, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences. Our goal is to build genuine friendships, foster belonging, and offer at least one welcoming community Meetup each week- because you deserve connection, and you are worth it.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
Women's Bold Bonds: The Inclusive Vibe Collective is a community for women and women-identifying individuals. To preserve the purpose and atmosphere of the group, membership and regular events are reserved for women and women-identifying members. Men who attempt to join the group will not be accepted. Men who attend regular women's events will be kindly and respectfully asked to leave.

From time to time, we will host special events where members are welcome to invite friends and family, including men, children, and others. Please read carefully what type of audience the event is appropriate for. These events will be clearly identified in advance and are intended to celebrate community while maintaining the groups primary mission of creating meaningful connection among women.

###

MAIN GOAL:
Together, let’s create a joyful, supportive space for all Women, where we can be our true selves. We want to create moments together that braid into the possibility of friendships. The goal is to have a meet-up available at least once a week. Come as you are—let’s have some fun!

WE WILL NEVER REACH OUT TO YOU AND ASK YOU FOR MONEY; ANY MONEY EXCHANGED WOULD NEED TO BE INITIATED BY YOU. NEVER GIVE FINANCIAL INFORMATION, MONEY, OR ACCESS TO ANY INSTITUTION UNLESS YOU ARE FAMILIAR AND WERE THE INITIATOR.

A WORD ON FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS:
We will never email anyone for any monetary payment or contribution.
We do not require a fee to attend; however, we will happily accept donations to help cover the nominal MeetUp costs. If you would like, consider bringing a couple of dollars to donate on the nights you attend, but your presence is more important to us than a financial contribution.

  • Donation suggestion:
Your presence is the best donation you can make.
If you are able, we are asking for a 2$ donation for
every person who registers to cover the costs of running this MeetUp.
There is no profit or salary taken from the donations; they go to pay for the cost of being on this MeetUp website.
We trust that our members will donate as they are able.
If cost is ever a concern, please reach out - we truly value your presence over your dollar.

EVENT COST:
This does not capture all events, so please read each event carefully to develop your expectations regarding any cost to join.
Cost varies, but we try to keep it at no to low cost for all of us. See the various scenarios below that we have encountered so far to gauge your expectations and budgeting as needed.

  • The host location, restaurant or coffee shop:
Event cost if meeting at a coffee shop or restaurant is just that you are able to order at least two items, as small or large as you want, and to tip the staff appropriately to thank them for accommodating our group at no extra cost. For this reason, we try for the most part to frequent locally owned businesses to put our support back into our own communities.

  • Ticketed events put on by a second party:
For events that are ticketed or cost money to enter, you may need to purchase a ticket in advance or reserve one through the leader planning the event. Any tickets purchased would have to be initiated by you. Generally, we try to choose no- or low-cost events.

  • Hosted activity by an active member:
Occasionally a member may volunteer to host an activity at a restaurant, coffee shop (also applicable; see above under The host location, restaurant or coffee shop), or a park. There may be costs involved for materials; in this case, we hope our host will either donate, ask you to bring your own materials from home, offer to provide the items at cost, or post a link to a reputable business where the items can be purchased or ordered. Again, we hope to keep this cost at or around $10 at most, but more likely under $5 or free. So far, the only hosted activity has had materials that were 100% donated. We do not pay members for services, but we appreciate any time, effort, energy, and brainpower that is put into offering your services. We are all volunteers, including myself.

Please reach out to Michelle Lee W. if you have an activity you would like to teach or host.

  • Other scenarios involving cost:
There may be other scenarios not captured here, so please read each event description carefully to be fully aware of any costs associated with the event. We are a new group, and I am sure we have lots of new unexpected experiences we may encounter in the near future.

WHAT IS THIS GROUP ABOUT, and WHO IS IT FOR?
Based in the Silicon Valley, our goal is to create a warm, inclusive sisterhood where women can connect, share, laugh, and support one another through community. Open to women of all ages, backgrounds, beliefs, and identities, this space is built on strength, authenticity, empathy, and kindness. Founded by Michelle Lee Walters—creator of thriving groups like "Women’s Book Club Wine and Snacks", and "Multicultural Women’s Poetry Group"—we aim to foster genuine bonds and collective wisdom. We hope to have a dedicated group of women, even if it is just one meeting a month, where you have the time to connect with us. I'm sure we all know life is hectic, which is why we need and deserve this form of self-care.

_______________________________

FORMAT:
The format will be very "informal". The event page will include details for each MeetUp, explaining what to expect, what to bring, etc. We are very easygoing and see one another as equal parts of the group; occasionally, we may have "facilitator(s)" to help with event logistics or needs.

_______________________________

WHY IT HATCHED:
In a digital world, it's more important than ever to nurture an in-person community. Here, we focus on building sisterhood—not on drinking or dating, but on connection, growth, and fun. We value equality, respectful communication, and embracing our differences with humility and grace. Whether outgoing or quiet, everyone’s voice matters.

_______________________________

LOCATION GUIDELINES:
Locations are to be determined as I research the best options. We’ll meet only where separate bills are available, or you can pay at the counter. When we meet at a restaurant, in order to respect the workers and the space, it is requested that each person order at least two items (food or drinks). The two-item minimum is truly a suggestion rather than a requirement or demand, because it is desired for the women in this collective to be in mature, healthy adult relationships, where we can consider each other's needs and create equitable relational spaces in which all feel they can easily step into. As we like to say, it is your presence that we desire, not anything more. Alcohol is optional— but not the main focus. Non-alcoholic options will always be available.

RSVP's/ Attendees
I reserve the right to cancel the MeetUp before the event based on lack of interest and registration. You will see "EVENT CANCELLED" in the Title. I will also send a message out through Meetup that will go to your personal email if an event is canceled. If you feel your messages may be going to your spam, you may want to occasionally search: [meetup-group-WomensBoldBonds-announce@email.meetup.com](mailto:meetup-group-WomensBoldBonds-announce@email.meetup.com)

A NOTE ON MEETING DAYS AND TIMES:
Your patience is appreciated and valued, as I am still considering what days and times work best as we move forward and get closer to a regular monthly schedule. You can vote for your preferred days by attending on those days or by contacting me with suggestions, such as your preferred day and time, or a specific event, a lounge, coffee shop, restaurant, or other location, a theme to base the meeting on, or an activity.

  • This group is very new, so your suggestions, support, collaboration, creativity, and interest are welcome!
  • Thank you to all of you who have already contributed; your time, effort, and brain power are much appreciated!

_______________________________

GROUP RESTRICTIONS and GUIDELINES:

  • Come late; just know, your presence is all we ask. Travel safely and peacefully; we’ll be here when you arrive.
  • If you can't make it, please remove yourself from the reservation list. We understand that life happens.
  • No selling or marketing of any kind, please.
  • No pressure to celebrate birthdays or exchange gifts.
  • Use "yes, and" to build on what others say, rather than "but" or "no."
  • Be welcoming and inclusive of all members.
  • No cliques—everyone is valued for her unique self.
  • Come as you are—no need to be perfect; We don't believe in perfect, but we believe in all showing up just as they are.
