If there's a project you want to get started, finished or make progress on, but are struggling for motivation, join us! We'll get together to share what we're doing, cheer each other on and generally support each other to kick-start some momentum. Bring your project or TODO and come ready to work alongside your fellow Women Who Code SD members.

Need a TODO? Check out these ideas...

  1. 100 Things That Bring You Joy - This mini-project was inspired by the presentation on Joy given by April Wensel (Compassionate Coding - https://compassionatecoding.com/) during the WWCode SD Anniversary event. The goal of the project is to compile a list of 100 things that bring you joy or happiness; things you are grateful for. Spice up your list and create a piece of word art or a photo montage.
  2. WWCode Coding Resources - If you're new to coding or want to expand your coding knowledge these modules can help. https://www.womenwhocode.com/resources

The Original GOWI - The original concept for this session was established by Ladies Of Code London, England. Get On With It sessions were devised by Ladies of Code London (https://www.meetup.com/Ladies-of-Code-UK/) in April 2020 to help their community come together and work on projects while sheltering at home from COVID-19. Having found this useful, we’ve implemented the same session for our community. You can read more about how sessions work here: https://suze.dev/blog/2020/05/10/get-on-with-it/ ************************************************************************

What To Expect: This 2 hour meet up is a working session where you'll have dedicated time off camera/mic to make progress on your project; it is a showcase session where we'll come together and share your plans, progress, or roadblocks and get support from the group. 9:05am: Tell us what you want to work on today. Type it in the chat or switch on your video camera and talk about it :)

10:00am: Tea break.

10:45am: Check in on Zoom, show and tell/watch and listen!
