This group is perfect for anyone interested in exploring wood carving. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or a seasoned woodworker wanting to try something new, our workshops provide a supportive and collaborative environment to explore and learn something new. Join us to connect with like-minded individuals and unleash your creativity as we craft beautiful and functional pieces from wood. WARNING: once you start carving, you might never stop!
We offer spoon and bowl carving workshops in Oakland and the South Bay. You can find the link to register in every event description. We use Japanese carving tools and you will learn how to use these safely during the class. We carve with bass wood blanks.
Spoon carving class:
- 2,5 hours
- $100
- all materials are provided and you will go home with your own handmade spoon
Bowl carving class:
- 3,5 hours
- $150
- all materials are provided and you will go home with your own handmade bowl
