Brazos Bend Redux: Hikes & Overnight Camping

Quick trip staying at Brazos Bend Tuesday and then off to explore nearby trails Wednesday late morning through afternoon.
Probably find a hike Wednesday nearby - Quintana Beach County Park -about an hour from the Brazos Bend State Park and oddly about the same time (2+ hours) to or from The Woodlands. Gotta love our highways.
I’ll head down just after 8 AM Tuesday for a late morning hike around 10 am, then go for 2 pm check in and enjoy the Brazos SP trails Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Lazy start Wednesday but no later than noon checkout and off to explore the coast. Hikes are about 7-10 miles.
Picnic lunches and simple meals unless otherwise noted.
Back to WDL for an evening arrival. Drive time home roughly 2+ hours depending on traffic!
The camp site is a tent site with electricity and water. I have electric burners and a coffee pot. I’ll have propane backup and an extra tent as well.
