Worcester Songspinners

Worcester Songspinners is a small, in-person songwriting workshop for experienced songwriters who want thoughtful feedback on songs in progress.

We’ll meet monthly in Worcester, with about 6–8 songwriters. At each meeting, everyone will have about 15 minutes to share an unfinished original song and talk about it with the group. The idea is to bring in something you’re actively working on, get thoughtful feedback, and leave with new ideas for making the song stronger.

This isn’t intended as a showcase for finished or recorded songs. We’re sharing work that is still open to change, and everyone should come prepared both to receive constructive feedback and to offer it respectfully to others.

This group is for people who already have experience writing songs and take the craft seriously. You don’t need to be a professional musician, but you should have written a number of original songs and be interested in continuing to grow as a songwriter.

The songwriter always decides what feedback is useful and what direction the song should take. Our job as a group is to listen carefully, ask good questions, and offer specific, constructive observations.

The heart of Songspinners is simple: helping each other write better songs.
