WordPress Cambridge: Nov 14th 7pm WordPress 6.1 Navigation & maybe Caching Zoom

Monday November 14th 7pm on Zoom, our topic is navigating WordPress 6.1 and maybe Caching.

Let's admit it, navigating WordPress 6.1 Full Site Editing is a new paradigm, an editor with Templates and Template Parts, plus additional capabitilities in the standard blocks. There are useful websites like https://blocks.wp-a2z.org/oik-themes/ which lists block based themes, and their popularity: https://blocks.wp-a2z.org/2022/09/27/fse-theme-statistics-27th-september-2022/. There's a bit of a learning curve.

As usual we hope that people will roll up, happy to share their knowledge and expertise. Everyone is invited to share their screen, and demonstrate something, both their solution or their challenge. There are no planned speakers.

Every question, suggestion & comment is welcome. Beginner questions are great, as well as questions from people who know the topic.

Everyone else will learn something, and seeing things working leaves people thinking they can also create such a site.

We have a wonderful crowd on Zoom, from across the USA, UK, Ireland, and Europe. Alas, we don't have enough people close to Cambridge to justify actually meeting in town. So the meetup is only on Zoom.

This format seems to work.
7pm: Welcome. Depending on numbers, everyone gets to introduce themselves, perhaps 10 seconds each, mainly describing their involvement with WordPress. If we have many attendees, then introductions via the chat.

7:15 pm: Start of sharing & discussion.

8.30pm The meeting kinda starts to wind up, sometimes we chat for longer.
