Full Site Editing Demos Mon 9th Feb 7pm UK, Zoom, WordPress Cambridge
Details
Dear All,
During January's meeting, Full Site Editing (FSE) emerged as a desired topic. Three member had recently build their first FSE websites. Some say their first FSE site took 3 months, but the second took just 3 days.
It's great we have some volunteers willing to share and demonstrate what they needed to learn and master to build their first FSE website. So, join us, and build your FSE sites much quicker.

What FSE is
FSE is building a WordPress site by designing the entire theme layer visually with blocks.
- With a block theme, you use the Site Editor to edit:
- Templates (home, single post, page, archive, search, 404)
- Template parts (header, footer, sidebar)
- Global styles (typography, colors, spacing)
- Navigation menus as blocks
Instead of editing PHP template files, you assemble layouts from blocks and save them as templates.
