No French needed: this is a live beginner class on Zoom, explained in English. Start a chat at a café or bar, pay a nice compliment, ask someone for a drink, and say yes or no gracefully in French.
In the hour, you'll learn to:
- Know when to use vous and when to suggest tu
- Start a conversation at a café or bar and ask the first few questions
- Give warm, natural compliments and avoid the embarrassing false friends
- Swap numbers or Instagram, and handle the bise
- Say yes, say a polite no, and take a no gracefully
You repeat together with the whole class (nobody is singled out), then practise in small breakout rooms of 2 or 3. Afterwards your phrase sheet with a pronunciation guide stays in your account.
No fluency promises: one hour is a real start, and the phrase sheet helps you keep it. Camera optional, nothing recorded.
