Working Title Writers

Working Title provides mentorship to aspiring authors at every stage of their writing journey. In our Blue Pencil Session, authors will have the chance to chat with professional writers and editors and ask questions about their work and writing problems. You will be able to get feedback on your first manuscript few pages, discuss a thorny scene, or receive advice on your writing in general.

If you are a writer interested in developing your craft, improve your writing life, and get your work in shape for publishing, then you should consider joining us!

During our Blue Pencil Session, we will first introduce the Panelists for the session and then each of the submitting authors. We will then discuss each submission in turn and provide answers/feedback to the submitting author. We will open the panelists up to questions from everyone at the end of the session.

If you would like to submit for the Blue Pencil Session, then you will need to send your questions, target scene, or first three pages of your standard-format, double-spaced manuscript to the group at least one week prior to the scheduled session. Manuscripts will be shared with the workshop attendees so that everyone can follow along with the feedback.
