Worktugal is a small community for people building a life in Lisbon. Moved here recently, work remotely, run your own thing, or just want better company than a group chat? You're welcome.
We keep things small and friendly:
- Lightning Talks at Kübe in Alvalade. 3 people, 10 minutes each, telling how they actually got where they are. Then questions and a chat. Free.
- Small dinners where seats are picked on purpose and phones stay in pockets.
- A peer room for solo builders and freelancers.
Come as you are, bring a friend, stay as long as you like. I'm Van, your host, and I'll be the one saying hi at the door.

- Jessica Labesehr on "Human by Design". 15 years designing products and building brands, on why technology moves fast and human nature doesn't.
- Jennifer Boicic on "Making the Leap: Navigating Uncertainty". A Global Strategy and Planning Leader at Cisco in Lisbon, on the year she spent not knowing if her move would work.
Think friendly room, short talks, curious questions. Nobody is up there selling anything.
