🍳 Japanese Home Cooking & Language Exchange
Come cook, eat, and chat with us! Join a small, relaxed language exchange evening at a share house in Kawasaki, where we'll cook a simple Japanese home-style meal together and hang out over food and conversation.
What to expect:

• We'll cook a Japanese home-cooked meal together in the kitchen
• Casual conversation in both English and Japanese — mix and match as you like
• A relaxed, living-room vibe rather than a structured class

Why cooking + language exchange?
Being suddenly told "let's do a language exchange!" can feel intimidating — especially if talking a lot isn't really your thing. But when you're working on something together, like cooking, you always have something natural to talk about (what we're making, how to chop this, does it smell right?), and you can also just focus on the task itself. That takes away the pressure of "I have to keep the conversation going!" Plus, actually making a Japanese home-cooked dish together naturally brings up new discoveries about the culture — and plenty to talk about along the way.
Who should join:

• Anyone curious about language exchange or Japanese culture
• All levels welcome — your English or Japanese doesn't need to be perfect, that's the whole point!
• Not confident in the kitchen? No worries, we just need a hand with simple prep

• 📍 Cross Culture Sharehouse — 3 min walk from Motosumiyoshi Station / 13 min walk from Musashi-Kosugi Station (easy access from central Tokyo; exact address shared upon RSVP)
• 💴 1,000 yen (covers ingredients/materials)
• 👥 Limited to 5 spots

Please note: There's no cat in the room itself, but this event isn't suitable for anyone with a cat allergy.

一緒に作って、食べて、おしゃべりしませんか？川崎のシェアハウスで、簡単な日本の家庭料理をみんなで作りながら、気軽に過ごす小さな言語交換の会です。
当日の流れ

• キッチンでみんなで日本の家庭料理を作ります
• 英語・日本語どちらも使ってOK、気軽に会話を楽しみましょう
• かしこまったレッスンではなく、リビングでゆるっと過ごす雰囲気です

こんな人におすすめ

• 言語交換や日本文化に興味がある方ならどなたでも
• レベルは問いません。英語も日本語も完璧じゃなくて大丈夫、それがこの会の趣旨です！
• 料理が苦手でも心配なし、簡単なお手伝いだけお願いします
