Hello everyone!
Join us for a unique cultural experience this February as we celebrate a traditional Japanese custom: making ehomaki (lucky sushi rolls)!
Ehomaki is a sushi roll traditionally enjoyed during Setsubun, a Japanese seasonal event marking the arrival of spring. People eat these rolls silently while facing the year's lucky direction to bring good fortune.
At this event, you’ll get the chance to:

• Learn about a meaningful Japanese tradition in a fun and approachable way.
• Create your very own ehomaki.
• Connect with locals and other participants who love cultural exchange.

3 minutes from Motosumiyoshi Station
12 minutes from Musashi-Kosugi Station
💵 Cost:
2,000 yen (includes ingredients and rental of the community space)
⚠️ Cancellations:
Cancellations are accepted until January 31st (Friday) to ensure proper ingredient preparation.
🍣 What to Bring:
A warm heart to appreciate everyone’s culture and an open mind to enjoy our differences together!
🌍 Language:
Japanese and English. Everyone is welcome, no matter your language ability!

2月の日本の伝統を体験してみませんか？今回は、節分にちなんだ恵方巻作りを開催します！
節分は、日本で春の訪れを祝う行事で、健康と幸運を願う特別な日です。この日に食べる恵方巻は、縁起の良い太巻き寿司で、今年の方角を向きながら静かに食べると、良い運気を呼び込むとされています。
イベントでは、次のことを楽しめます：

• 日本の伝統文化を楽しく学べます。
• 自分だけの恵方巻を作れます。
• 日本人や他の国からの参加者と交流しながら素敵な時間を過ごせます。
