About us
Have you ever wanted to learn more about wine? Do you already know a bit about wine, but are looking for more tasting and education opportunities? We've got you covered.
We will explore 3-4 comparable wines from a single region, or single varietal. We'll have a short presentation on each wine. Then we taste. This will be a good opportunity to put to paper your experience of tasting the wine -- formal tasting notes not required.
Whether you're a professional or a novice, you're encouraged to write a few things about each wine as an exercise to think about your experience. Experienced tasters may stick to a formal rubric, while beginners may simply write about a past memory that the wine may provoke. Or, if writing isn't you're thing, you can drive right into the snacks. With enough practice you'll naturally develop a familiarity of wines and regions around the world. You may not become an expert after one or two tastings, but you also may not feel intimidated by someone else's demonstrative wine knowledge.
After a short period of writing--as long or short as you need, We will have an opportunity to taste the wines in a casual setting with paired snacks and socializing. I love talking about wine, but one of the joys of good conversation is you'll never know where it may lead.
The cost may vary depending on the number of participants and cost of wine (est $20-$30 per person)
