Join us for a stunning kalaeidoscope of sound with Alkanna Graeca, a polyphonic vocal trio. Their repertoire breathes new life into centuries-old traditions of the Balkans, Mediterranean, and Black Sea through free improvisation and fresh arrangements. Formed by Irini Arabatzi, Dunja Botic, and Alexandra Achillea, the trio blends influences from folk, jazz, classical, and experimental music to create a sound that is both deeply rooted in their cultural heritage and fearlessly forward-thinking. Alkanna Graeca’s debut EP will be released this winter, marking the beginning of an exciting journey of sonic exploration and cultural celebration.
