Dr. Laurie Vollen will present up-to-date information on the science behind medicinal marijuana, core knowledge for therapeutic use, and the challenges patients’ experience when they choose marijuana use over pharmaceuticals for their medical care.

Laurie Vollen, MD, MPH is a physician, human rights advocate, co-founder of the Voice of Witness book series, and award-winning author. Since 2000, she has worked with medical marijuana patients, helping them harness the medicinal properties of cannabis, reduce their pharmaceutical use, and improve their sense of well-being.
