Woven Web Mixer & Lightning Talks - Civics

Come join Woven Web at our next monthly(ish) social mixer!

This month we are going to be diving into the topic of civics. What does it mean to be a participant in society and how do we play that role effectively? With election day just behind us, this is a great opportunity to reflect on civic duty beyond just voting and being involved in elections, and with the field of civics on the whole.

As always, at Woven Web, we're interested in how things connect together, so don't feel like you have to lock yourself in to any limited idea of what civics means. Perhaps you might see an intersection between psychedelics and civics that is worth talking about, or regeneration and ecology. Whatever your thoughts are, we want to hear them.

The format of the event will involve some casual time for gathering starting at around 530, and then around 6 we'll connect in together and begin lightning talks around 615. We'll probably try to wrap things up around 7 but leave space for casual connection afterwards.
