WordPress Helsinki

The WordPress Helsinki meetup group aims to bring people together of all skill levels, from beginners to WordPress professionals. WordPress Helsinki is purely organised by community volunteers, and operates under the WordPress code of conduct.

In the December WordPress Helsinki Meetup will celebrate the holidays with a presentation by Volodymyr about WordPress 6.9 which is scheduled for release on December 2, 2025, and it brings a new wave of improvements to the editor, design tools, performance, and developer experience.

Join us as we break down the most important changes and discuss how they can benefit your projects. Whether you build sites, create content, or contribute to WordPress, this session will help you get up to speed with what’s new in 6.9.

Vladimir Melnychenko is a WordPress enthusiast. He was raised in Ukraine, and now lives in Finland. He got acquainted with WordPress in 2012 as a technical support representative and has been in love with it ever since. Vladimir works at Valve Branding Oy as a WordPress developer, building various websites for our clients and he believe that the best website is the one that is constantly improving.
