This month we're heading back to Nokia's shiny new offices in Paddington. (Directions (http://wpug.net/2013/05/17/getting-to-2-kingdom-street/))
Iris Classon is a Technical Evangelist for Telerik, a Microsoft MVP and "the world's happiest .NET developer".
She asked a group of kids and teenagers what kinds of phone apps we should make and put together a session based of their responses. showcasing the cool advanced features of WP8 in a way that will hopefully bring out the kid in you. Be ready for a playful session!
You can read more from Iris (http://www.telerik.com/community/evangelists/iris-classon.aspx) on her blog (http://www.irisclasson.com/) and follow her on twitter (https://twitter.com/irisclasson).
David Hamilton will also be talking about the latest update to the music based social network app Pepper (http://www.pepper-app.com/). (The new version will be live by the time we meet.) He'll be talking about how they rearchitected the code, and improved performance and network communications. He'll also touch upon their way they've added NFC and protocol support.
Please note the venue and that we will be starting at 6:30.
