Whether you're an experienced or a novice songwriter, this group is for you! Whether you're a prolific songwriter looking to stir things up a bit, you have full-on writer's block, or you've just dabbled a bit in the idea of writing songs, join us for an afternoon of creative thinking, discussion, writing and jamming. Our group tends to run a bit relaxed, without a lot of forced structure, but it works for us. Come see what we're all about, and draw your own conclusions.

Most meetups are co-hosted by a visiting songwriter mentor in which they share several of their songs and discuss their personal writing processes and perspectives, as well as field questions by the participants. We have had mentors aging in range from 11-years-old to as old as dirt! The idea is to offer a wide array of insights and perspectives. If you or someone you know is interested in contributing in this way, please let us know.

So far, we do not charge for these events. However, we do ask that you come hungry/thirsty and plan on buying a little something to support the venue that supports us. Most people spend about $5-10.

Join us every 2nd Saturday of the month from noon til 3pm. Bring your guitar, your writing utensils of choice, and if you have 'em, any song(s) you're working on. You won't be disappointed!
