What we’re about
The idea is to provide a space once a month for people who like to write prose fiction (or poetry and screenplays - basically, anything except non-fiction) to get together, share their work, and give encouragement and constructive criticism. All types of fiction welcome (including scripts!). We're also trialling more sociable 'writer chats' on an informal basis where we meet for coffee and conversation about writing, and we have two weekly 'write-ins', where we sit around a table and ignore each other while we write. Plenty to try so come along!
Membership costs £6 for a year to cover the admin fees we're charged by Meetup. This can be paid by paypal to will.e.whitaker@gmail.com, preferably as 'Friends and Family', to keep big corpo from taking their cut.
