This is a writing workshop that meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month at the Winter Park Library. We focus on learning a new technique or method each month. A guest speaker will share a sample of their work and then give a writing prompt for everyone to follow.

We'll all write for 30 minutes, and then share our work with others, and receive helpful suggestions about what to improve. Bring your laptops, tablets, a notebook and pen, and a willingness to learn.

This month, Rebekkah Edlund, author of The Happiness Quest, will teach us about how to find our process.

Ready to reconnect with your creative spark? Whether you’re stuck, just starting out, or looking for a deeper sense of purpose in your writing, this workshop will help you rediscover the heart behind the words. Using the 6 simple questions, Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How, we’ll explore your writing process, creative rhythms, and what’s really driving you to tell your story. This isn’t a class about rules or structure. It’s about giving yourself permission to write in a way that feels honest and true to you.

Rebekkah Edlund is a writer, certified life coach, and passionate believer in the magic of ordinary moments. She’s the author of The Happiness Quest novel, and she helps others reconnect with their purpose on page and in life. She is currently working on her second novel.
